Today is not 11th February, but we would like to celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science every day. We have identified role models reading Zientzia Kaiera, Mujeres Con Ciencia and following the hashtag #EmakumeakZientzian on Twitter, but we have also met young scientists who are doing a great job on STEM. Now we are sharing our work with you and we hope that after reading our articles, you remember some of these great women and their contribution to science.

Lakua, 26th October.
Students from the five ELOS schools took part in a World Café in the Basque Government (Lakua) to celebrate the European Day of Languages. Topics for discussion: general aspects of the European Union, Europe in your life, the “European dream” and students´future within Europe. Current issues like job prospects in European countries and immigration were controversial. We all shared our opinions about European society from a critical point of view. - Promoting the rich linguistic and cultural diversity of Europe, which must be preserved and fostered;
- Encouraging lifelong language learning in and out of school, whether for study purposes, for professional needs, for purposes of mobility or for pleasure and exchanges.
